an obelisk in the distance
glows in the circle of the sun
slowly entering telophase
I'm there searching
for everything I already have

Telophase, hmm. What is that?

Sounds like somehting from a '50s sci-fi...

"Stand-by for TELOPHASE!" *dodgy model work overlayed with red and blue blurring* *actors fall about while the camera pans in and out rapidly*

More interesting imagery...

telophase is the last phase a cell enters in mitosis
:iconhughie522:
Does it involve red and blue blurring and dodgy acting coupled with rapidp panning?

"NO!!!"

Jeez, sorry I asked...:giggle:

You have some great stuff with a lot of neat imagery :D.

Obelisk, always been a favorite word of mine, makes me think of Edward Gorey... he liked obelisks rather a lot as well. I also love the last two lines, it's sort of the story of humanity. Lovely piece!

Telophase. The chromosomes and spindle disappear, the cell goes through cytokinesis and...there are two cells.

Search on through that slowly dividing obelisk.

He loved his words best, and I loved mine.

Could use some capitalization and punctuation, but all else is really cool. Reminds me of Egypt.
